Telltale Tea Company Tea Ceremony & Story Journey. Growth. Ramana Wellness Centre July 31st, 2022

Owen Pilgrim of the Telltale Tea Co is holding this afternoon tea ceremony & story workshop in the Ramana Wellness Centre in Dundee. The tea ceremony & journey will celebrate the theme of Growth with tea, meditation, and stories.

The simple tea ceremony being practiced is from a Zen tradition and essentially is the mindful drinking of tea. The nature of the ceremony is calming and helps us to connnect to ourselves and to the qualities of the tea. The tea used for the ceremony is very carefully and ethically sourced.

During the tea ceremony there will be moments of meditation. For the Story Journey aspect of the afternoon we will travel into the theme of Growth through stories and reflection. We will look into how the stories relate to us and are significant for understanding how we live and can encourage our own personal growth.

All in all this is a space for finding connection and calm, to step away from the clamour of the world for a little while guided by the medicine of tea and stories.

Owen is a storyteller, artist, meditation & tea practitioner, and works in nature connection. His work with tea & storytelling aims to bring people into deeper connection with nature and self, and to explore how the metaphor and maps of stories can guide us.
